We're new in the area so we were looking for an open barber shop on Saturday afternoon. We stopped at a place around the corner called Hart of Texas Barber Shop. Three guys were playing dominoes in the back, not a customer in sight. They didn't move when my husband walked in. One guy said they only take appointments, even though it says "Walk-ins Welcome" on the door. They went back to their game. So we left. Wouldn't recommend Hart of Texas Barber Shop. They suck. Spotted this Supercuts in the next block. They were warm and welcoming, gave my husband a great cut and trim in less than an hour. Without an appointment. Everyone walked out of there smiling. I was in town for my nephews funeral memorial in December. Didn't have time for a haircut before I left California. So a day before his memorial I was searching for a place for a cut . And stumbled upon this one. The lady who cut my hair was so nice and generous. We started a small conversation and she is the one who would cut my nephews hair. I lost it inside thinking of him. She was awesome and cut my hair perfectly.

I walked in yesterday on a whim to get my haircut. I was wanting an asymmetrical short cut. The first person whose chair I sat in wasn't comfortable with doing it, which I appreciated her honesty SO MUCH!! She called over one of her coworkers and said "this is a cut for you!" She passed me on to Shawn and she BLEW IT OUT OF THE PARK!!! She was extremely knowledgeable and was doing a great job of explaining each step to the person who I had sat with first. I had a wonderful experience and I ultimately ended up crying after seeing my transformation! Thank you so much Shawn!! I'll be back!
