After only having adopted middle aged rescue boxers, a boxer puppy fell into our laps and we knew we needed a professional. Lisa's group classes are exactly what we needed for socializing and desensitizing our puppy and now he's able to go into public places with lots of people and new things, without any trouble. We cannot wait to keep going and see what our pup's capable of, but we know moving forward, we will always have our new dogs in Lisa's class.
I have been going to dog training with Lisa since my puppy Harper was 10 weeks old. She does an amazing job at teaching the owner how to build a relationship with their pup starting from a young age. It’s the foundation needed for everything! Don’t expect a program where you hand the dog off and she does all the work. This is only true if you go to day training in 2nd grade but otherwise you’re the one needing to do the homework and training outside of class time. And it makes a difference!! Most anywhere I go I get complimented on Harper’s behavior. She’s a year old so we have been at it most of her life with breaks here and there. My first dog (german shepherd) didn’t start training until she was 6 months old and she was already overstimulated and not socialized enough so unfortunately she can’t get taken around much. I love all my dogs but Lisa’s classes have really given me that relationship I needed with my dog as a companion. Now Harper and other dogs in our class have the upperhand when going to restaurants, dog sports, etc. Don’t let someone else train your puppy! Start young and you will not regret it!! Harper loves Lisa!
She has over 27 years of experience! Therefore she is VERY knowledgeable! Me and my pup have learned soo much with her!! Can’t recommend her enough!!!
