Amazing! From the front staff to Dr. Chafin it was all around amazing! It was my son’s first contact exam/trial, and they were so patient with him, reassured him and went over it all! WITHOUT charging me a $109 “contact lense training fee” like another place wanted to! He even answered a question about my contacts for me not even being the paying patient! We are switching our whole family to Dr Chafin now!!!
After moving away from Amarillo I’ve struggled to find an eye dr who has the same kindness and dedication to their patients that Dr. Weir has. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Weir regarding concerns my previous eye Dr got my prescription wrong and issues with the contacts. She confirmed my concerns, explained why I might be having issues with the contacts I received and then fixed the issue by ordering me the right prescription and better quality contacts. After this visit I realized she’s worth the 3 hour drive to make sure I get the best treatment and best quality of products possible. I highly recommend Dr. Weir if you want a positive review experience.
Good doctor which is important, but the staff forgets to call or text you to notify you that your glasses are ready. I have vsp insurance so it usually takes a while to come in, however when I called 11 days after my appointment to see if my glasses were in, they put me on hold for almost 20 minutes and just never picked up the phone again. I had to call back to ask again. Just tell people yes or no and call them back. The glasses were there, not sure what all the communication issues are.
