James Cox and the other instructors are GREAT! My little girl refused to participate the first 3 classes and they were so patient, encouraging and worked with her! They are SO great with the kids! We love it so far.

My son has thrived at Abilene Mixed Martial Arts. The instructor is an excellent mentor in his life. Martial Arts is tough but teaches values, self defense, and good character. Plus, they pick him up from school and give him a snack. It's a win-win. We love our AMMA team

I joined AMMA back when I was only 12 it was awesome working out. it is fun as a kid and enjoyable as an adult. You will learn self respect and be ready to defend and protect your self if needed hopefully not but it is always good to be able too. before I joined karate I was socially awkward and after only a month or 2 I was able to come out of my shell and make friends. 6 years of karate that I enjoyed and loved. tournaments are pricey but a lot of fun. Larry teaches respect, confidence, pride, and Honor. if u want your kids to learn these traits. then AMMA is a must. also if you are an adult and want a fun workout or skill.
