I should’ve seen the red flag for what it was whenever I contacted this office and they wouldn’t give me a straightforward answer about how much my kitten’s visit would cost. I asked to schedule for a rabies shot and a deworming and was told it would be around $100. Email correspondence photo attached. The staff was very kind whenever we arrived and the tech came in and took our kitten to the back to see the veterinarian but when she returned with my kitten they informed me that she did not recieve the rabies shot because she was younger than we thought and we’d have to schedule back. Okay, no big deal. Then she informed me they did however go ahead and perform services on the kitten that we did not schedule for (nail trim along with a “technician fee”) None of this was communicated beforehand. I was specifically told in our email correspondence when setting up this appointment that someone would come in and discuss how much the appointment would be with us before performing services and I’d have to sign before treatment. That did not happen here. Then to top it all off, they tried to sell me a package to prepay for vaccines we weren’t due for (not including the rabies vaccine we specifically scheduled this appointment for) and when I declined, the appointment increased from $106 to $140. Not to mention everyone’s demeanor toward us changed. I’m disappointed with the unprofessionalism of this office. We will not be back. Photos of email correspondence and itemized receipt attached.

My first visit with my dog since I'm new to the area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Dr. Lembo was knowledgeable and made it easy to discuss to the health of my dog. He was recommended to me by other family members and I understand why.

Our family absolutely loves and trusts Dr. Lembo and his staff.
My fur babies have been patients of Dr. Lembo for 10 years, you won't find a better or more caring vet than him and his staff. He's honest, understanding and truly has you and your pets best interest at heart.

We love Veterinary Wellness Clinic of Spring Hill so much! We switched to them years ago when our senior dog needed dental surgery, and they were able to perform the procedure at a third of the cost of our former vet. More importantly, Dr. Lembo took the time to reassure me about the euthanasia involved when I expressed concern. Then, when our dog reached the end of his life, the whole team treated us with the utmost compassion while guiding us through the process.

We are now on our second dog that has been a patient here, and we continue to feel like we are in nothing but the best of hands. The reality is that quality veterinary care isn't cheap. I appreciate how thoroughly the techs break down the service options and pricing, so I never feel blindsided. From the front desk on back, the whole practice is full of gems. I can't recommend them enough!

We chose Veterinary Wellness for their late evening appts. They were generally adequate but the most expensive vet we had ever gone to. When my 6 yo dog got pneumonia and the female vet was sooo rude. ( It’s a very long story, but we ended up at VEG- the emergency center in coolsprings where our dog was euthanized. ). At SPW, the female vet was just plain hateful, unprofessional, and refused to explain anything about his condition because she was working evening shift and “hadn’t been with our dog all day.” She was highly dismissive with absolutely no empathy for us or our dog. The vet techs tend to act like they care, but not that vet!! We won’t go back there, and advise othered to avoid it. I am a nurse and know the difficulties that come with healthcare. Putting forward professional and empathetic behavior is just the minimum healthcare workers should give to their patients. If you hate your own life or job, you still have to show you care —- that’s your job! It’s common customer service to greet people with a smile, and take the time and energy to partner in the health journey from birth to death with the pet and owners. If y’all can’t do the bare minimum, then please dont make others scared and miserable, maybe it’s time to make some changes!

Greedy, not professional. A tech fee of $15, the tech is your employee...YOU pay the tech! The dr takes my pet in the back for a $55 wellness exam, I guess the doctor does not know what they are doing so they want to hide it. I went in for a consult for teeth cleaning...why do I have to be required for a wellness exam? Very unprofessional and no one smiles. Do not bring your pet here. I didn't even see any credentials on the wall, I have grave concerns if they are even qualified vetinarians!
