“My 1st experience here yesterday. When I made my appt, it was very easy and thry were able to get me in pretty quick.
Darlene cut my hair, which was down past my butt. When I let her know, I wanted to all cut off to practically my shoulders 🤣 she was quick to ask if I had thought about it. As she cut it straight across, you could almost see the pain 😆 she was slow to start with taking less off and offered to let me take the length that was cut to donate. Which I very much appreciated. We had a great conversation during my cut.
After it was over, she let me know that if I wanted to go shorter later in the werk that she would be back the next week and we would do it.
I requested that she cut my hair w/out it being wet because it gets much shorter than most would due to having natural curly hair. She was great about it and understood completely.
I love how light my hair feels now. Before the cut it was very heavy, and I have to wear my hair up in a clip or twist. Which was hurting my head so much. It was becoming very unruly, frustrating to brush or even deal with. Now, it's easy and feels much better.
Who knows, maybe I'll go back to go even shorter before summer 😆
