Jackson Hewitt Tax Service

This was the absolute worst tax preparation I have ever endured. And I have filed every year since 1984. The woman had no clue what she was doing. It took over TWO hours for her to get it done. She asked questions that I had never heard of before. We asked simple questions and she had to message back and forth with someone via the computer. Actually this was done the entire time. To top it off we were charged $526.00 for this filing. I never paid more than $250.00 for tax prep even when I had my Repair business. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Jackson Hewitt @ Walmart in Savannah Tennessee. We asked several times for a cost to do the tax return. She stated that it depended on how much paperwork we had. She had all of our papers and still either did not know or pretended not to know. There's no way I would have proceeded with it if we had known it would be so expensive. $526.00 is outrageous.

The lady that prepared my taxes was great . BUT HOWEVER I WAS CHARGED 400.00 JUST TO DO 1 SIMPLE W-2 FORM . That is way out there .. usually 120 is what i was charged at my cpa before . I just had alot going on had to wait till last minute so I took a chance on Jackson Hewitt .

Natalie help me down at the Walmart department. She is very professional, efficient, calming, knowledgeable and kind. My last two years have been full of crazy negative, deaths and family embezzlement. I was very fearful of getting my taxes completed, but Natalie was the best day of my life in the last two years. She really made me feel positive about myself and understanding the importance of getting your taxes done. It’s a no-brainer to know I’ll be using her every year!!!!!!!!!!

I was charged more for less work bc I had a pretaxed retirement refund. Was not provided the fee list when I asked for it. Paying more to irs than ever before was told bc I didn't pay in anything. If you don't earn $12,500 your not required to file. But i was required to just report the pers refund that I already paid in taxes.. I think she figured that bc I got a nice size pers contribution refund that she could charge me more. Her reason was that their kiosk in Walmart cost $15k just like the rent in Adamsville Tennessee office. I think I need to dig deeper into this matter. I don't like being played or lied to.

Natalie was awesome. She was thorough. Answered all my questions and gave me thoughts for 2025. Costs to file were transparent upfront. JH is lucky to have Natalie on board.

This is my second year using Jackson Hewitt and I have to say that I'm pleased with there services my taxes were a mess at first with numerous w2s and a couple 1099 but they breezed right through them and got meu max return it was great. Thank u guys

Very professional & had alot of tax knowledge, taxes were done faster than I thought. I will be going there next tax time.
