I contacted Tyler about providing a first service visit for a Carrier HVAC unit that was installed in my new home a year prior. He was great about explaining the system and sharing some concerns he had regarding the installer's duct work. In his follow-up report, he made me aware that the builder and installer had never registered the unit, which meant I had 5-year warranties instead of 10-year extended warranties. Armed with that information, I was able to register my equipment and contact Carrier to get the warranty extensions. Needles to say, I am grateful he brought the registration issue to my attention!
