The people at TMR go above and beyond in customer service. I visited on 2/15/24 and Alex and Jenay were working and they were simply the best! I can't say enough about them. If you are a true music fan, definitely plan on going there. But give yourself at least an hour to roam the shop. It's worth it!
This place is very cool. In the days of technology and digitization is nice to see places sticking to the good old days technology. There is something about film that can't be accomplished with digital. I said what I said. They process film and they also have studio space for rent, cool artifacts and clothing. They have in house film processing as well. The value is definitely more expensive. I bought the B&W Ilford HP5 Plus (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) at $10.50 per roll, that's about $2-$3 more than the other stores in town. It was an emergency and they only open place on a Sunday so, bite the price. Lassy (sorry if missed spelled) was wonderful. Great customer service and she answered all the questions I had at the moment. I will definitely check them out and recommend just to come and check them out. A very cool place.
Come on, this is a must-have if you enjoy music! While at the JW Marriott for a business conference, I learned that Third Man Records was nearby. I was not disappointed when I ran down the slope! Actually made two trips to the store, each time purchasing merchandise. Lots and lots of clothes, drum sticks, kid's books, Lps, and much more. You can listen to the record in the listening booth before you buy it if it is still in its sleeve. It's amazing that you were this close to Jack White, and the place is really cool.
