Me and my fiancé decided to make this record store our last stop before we hit the road after visiting Nashville. So glad we did! Found lots of cool records and the owner was very helpful and friendly! Wish we could’ve stayed longer
I've known about The Groove for about 4-5 years now but just haven't gotten a chance to go by the store whenever I found myself in Nashville.
We were in town for a high school band competition down in Smyrna over the weekend so, during a pretty long intermission, I snuck off back to East Nashville to finally check the store.
Listen, there's not a shortage of record stores in Nashville but the thing I love about The Groove is just how genuine it feels to shop there. No bells and whistles ... just a store dedicated to those who love music and love to shop for the music they love.

Have been coming to this shop for years- brought my teenage step daughter through to pass it on to the next generation. Great selection of new and used vinyl, and CDs is you are still rocking the CD player in your car like me. Great selection of local music, as well. And the staff is really good about ordering anything that they don't have in stock. Fantastic shop.
