Tony Reed is very friendly and a great barber. Even gave me muffins to take with me. They only take cash, all I had was a debit card and he said just bring the cash back when you get it. I’ll definitely be back for a haircut there.

I walked past Oprah's daddy shop and went straight to Reed & Sons because I support the hood. Asked for a ball fade and got a premium cut at a decent price. The young kid assisting his dad even picked up the broom and swept up after without being asked. I gave a tip to both the barber and his young son. Positive family environment that made me feel as if I was being chopped in my own living room. This is back in 2015 and I still remember.

My brother and I went to Mr. Reed's as children, and continued going to this shop as adults (I admit to not going in quite awhile now . I'm 65 with a bald head these days and not much need). The one thing I remember though is the feeling of community that always existed...that stereotypical neighborhood barbershop that feels like home Mr Reed's only there part-time now...I'll be going back to visit as soon as I can.
