So I'll start by saying I didn't hire this company, the work with the builder of my home. My builder allowed me to choose my own stain so I met with Perkins. The people in office were very friendly. I told them I loved the natural look of my floors which, unfinished, where a white oak with great variation. To achieve this as a finished look, they recommended I do a water based poly finish and no actual stain. The guy at the office was very confident they wouldn't yellow because of the water based poly... or at least yellow very minimally. We had an amazing experience with Perkins. They were quick, efficient, gave us a clear instructions, and finish the job sooner than expected under budget. No way we could ever ask for more! We love our new floors.
