Nicholson’s does a good job for the price, speed, and convenience. I generally wash and hang dry most of my family’s clothes and then have them “press only” so that my garments are perfect and super clean. They also do a good job at alterations - hemming and more complex items. There are way more high-end and outstandingly expensive drycleaners in Nashville - I’ve tried them all and paid $175 for one cashmere sweater to be cleaned - but Nicholson’s did just as good a job as the most expensive places. I used Nichols Cleaners for both dry cleaning and wash-and-fold services. Overall, the quality of the cleaning was good—my clothes came back fresh and neatly done.
However, I do wish I had been given the full pricing breakdown upfront, not just the “per pound” cost for the wash-and-fold. Without knowing how the clothes were weighed, it was unclear how the total price was calculated.
The service itself was fine, but better transparency around pricing would make the experience much smoother.
I took a dress that had been gifted to me to have some alterations done, when I tried on my dress it was a perfect fit. I experience phenomenal customer service & they are perfect when cleaning m lotus. They even press and crease my uniforms. I get great compliments on my clothes.
