I used to go to the veterinarian closer to our home but the practice sold & we weren’t getting a resolution for a rash in my lab’s ears so I took a friends recommendation for Dr Smith. We really appreciate his practical & holistic approach to care. I got a new puppy who I suspected may have giardia & was seen quickly, got necessary treatment & great food that was better for her digestion. Stool firmed up immediately & I’ve continued to purchase her food from Pet Tao as I’m very appreciative of the quality. What a great resource for middle Tennessee. The dr is friendly & knowledgeable. The techs are kind and helpful. However, if your dog has pretty bad vet anxiety, this might not be the place for you. We did end up switching vets because our dog needed a lot of extra patience due to his fears of being there. Also, the costs were a too high for us. A same-day sick visit costs quite a bit extra.
Charlie is a shitzu who I acquired from my neighbor six months ago. I brought him to Natchez Trace and he was greeted by a nice vet staff who gave him attention. Dr Smith saw Charlie and did his exam and said he was in good health. I had Charlie tested for heart worm and none was found. The care you will receive here is phenomenal and I recommend if you’re looking for a great veterinarian Dr. Marc Smith is the vet to see.
