I told Harmon the other day, after another great appointment, “when someone is worth knowing about, I’ll shout it from the rooftops...I’ll be their biggest cheerleader.” No one is more worthy of this than Harmon. I called Harmon almost 9 months ago in pure desperation. I had been struggling with cystic acne on my forehead for a few years, tried countless acne lines, and nothing had worked. When my face wasn’t covered in active acne, the scars made it look like it was. Wearing hats/baseball caps had become my staple. Instead of being out to dinner with my boyfriend enjoying our time together/conversation, I would be thinking about my face and whether he noticed how bad it had gotten. I wanted so badly to feel beautiful and confident. The only thing I had never tried was a facial, so upon doing some research I (thankfully!!) found Harmon’s website and decided to give her a call. From the very first second on the phone that afternoon, Harmon put me at ease. She is an active and empathetic listener...the epitome of warm, comforting, knowledgable, and non-judgmental. We booked my first appointment for that second week of September 2020, and I remember praying so hard that this would finally be what I needed. My face was not only covered in cysts at the time, but millia (tiny bumps under the surface) from the purging happening from switching to yet another acne treatment line (but this would finally be the one, yay!). Harmon completely customized my treatment that day (complete with a pumpkin peel, clarifying mask, extractions, and high frequency), and has continued to for each and every one of my treatments, most of time, at a financial cost to her (NOT to me)...just because she cares that much about her clients and their experience. And this level of care is not just limited to appointments. When I got a flat tire on my way to an appointment last month, Harmon personally called me to make sure I was ok, in a safe spot, and even offered to come rescue me knowing I don’t have family in town. If that doesn’t say it all, I don’t know what does. Chatting with Harmon is always the highlight of my week the weeks I see her; I feel relaxed from the moment I walk in the door to the moment I leave. Harmon has what I call a “gifted touch” - you can quite literally feel the love she puts into her work with every next cream, oil, and mask she applies. Over the last 9 months, as a result of ~8 customized treatments by Harmon, an acne line that finally works, makeup catered to acne-prone skin, quality facial products (the DERmed products she carries are unbelievably effective), and more, **I have clear skin for the first time in 5+ years**. Clear as in so clear that I have not had a single cyst in 5+ months!!! When I tell you I could cry tears of joy (sometimes I do) when I look in the mirror now at my clear, glowing skin, I truly mean it. This is the gift that keeps on giving. I look people in the eyes confidently now, wear little (if any) makeup, haven’t worn a baseball cap for the purpose of covering anything up in months, and I smile bigger and brighter with each passing day. Thank goodness I have 3 more years in Nashville to be a loyal Harmon client, but I know that even when I leave, I will still be able to reach out to her with anything. Harmon is the BEST! After several failed brow waxes with other salons, Harmon was able to help me. She is professional and extremely knowledgeable. Her salon is an oasis. You will love her!
