Allied Crawford offers overnight parking with a huge area for maneuvering. The staff are good people, friendly, helpful, nice, and work hard. Unloading can take a while, from under 30 minutes after an appointment to over an hour, so manage expectations. The parking area is a bit noisy as it is where they stage loaded trailers, but that is truck life. The location has improved greatly from being a mess to a positive experience where everyone is working hard and getting stuff done. Overnight parking is allowed and preparing a load early can contribute to a smooth process.
If you can ,just cancel de trip !!Trust me ,you gonna lose your patience. Here for 8 am,me and another 3 trucks . I leave at 3 pm and another 3 trucks next day . I asked a employee why it’s so slow and he says ,,we are pay per hour dude “
Drivers, the workers, work with blinders on they will pretend like they don’t see you even if they were told to offload you, so go inside and ask the nice lady for assistance. Be respectful to her she is very nice, and it’s not her fault. She was just as shocked as I was that I was still waiting to be offloaded since I been the only truck within the last 3 hours.
Allied Crawford steel is flat out garbage and will cost you money and time if you are a professional driver. If your dispatch tries to put you on a load to these fools do not accept the load. They do nothing to accommodate the people that actually keep them in business. Maybe if the word gets out to enough drivers we can force them to be better business partners. Awful experience and do not recommend at all any location. Allied Crawford is trash.
