In my opinion, a good dental office needs 3 main factors to provide a good patient experience. Those factors are: 1. A knowledgeable and skilled dentist, 2. Skilled dental assisting staff, and 3. An organized and clear billing system. Salem Creek Family Dental knocks it out of the park on all three counts. Let’s go deeper.
1. Dr. Costello is an excellent dentist. Since I’m someone with myriad chronic illnesses that impact my teeth and how I’m able to tolerate dental work, finding a knowledgeable dentist can be very challenging. Dr. Costello is not only knowledgeable and skilled, but she is kind, accommodating, and has an excellent bedside manner.

I have been getting my regular cleanings from Brittany at Salem Creek for a few years now and have been very pleased. I recently needed some more extensive work, and must admit, I was a little apprehensive. However, I am glad to say, now that the work is complete, I couldn’t be happier. The majority of the work was done by Dr. Skidmore and dental assistant Kat. They were both outstanding. Dr. Skidmore performed an extraction and quite a bit of drilling, all with no pain whatsoever. And, Kat did a significant amount of work as well and was very gentle and reassuring.
