I can’t say enough good things about my experience. Chantel is a whole vibe, but everyone I met during my visit was wonderful & authentic. I’m hooked!

I started coming here earlier this year after beginning work downtown, and recently referred a family member who also booked an appointment. Unfortunately, they shared with me that during their visit, personal and untrue statements were made about me supposedly based on what was discussed during my own visits.

To be clear, I’ve rarely had the opportunity to speak much during my sessions, and I absolutely did not share the things that were later repeated. I find this behavior completely inappropriate, and frankly, I feel embarrassed and humiliated.
I’ve always found her tone and comments about other coworkers, family, etc. to be awkward. I had brushed it off as just part of the personality or industry culture, but this latest breach of confidentiality crosses a line.
I’m hoping this issue can be taken seriously and addressed appropriately, as I would not want others to have a similar experience.

Update 9/8 apparently since I lived somewhere else before moving to Murfreesboro and live of veterans boulevard I can't post a review regarding your staff Christy. If you went back to school and left her to take over the shop then you are right there with me my friend.

Great experience! The staff was friendly, the salon was clean, and I loved my haircut. Definitely coming back!

This is my first time going to a professional hair salon, having mostly gone to Great Clips for the most part. Christy did an excellent job reshaping my shaggy hair style. The cost was reasonable, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. My only negative is that the mirror makes me look really fat... but then I am fat.

Absolutely love Onyx Shear hair Art!! Steven’s been cutting and coloring my hair for over 8 years. He always meets you with a smile and will have you laughing the entire apt. He truly loves what he does and it shows in his amazing work ethic. Can’t wait for my next apt.

I have been getting my hair done by Steven consistently since about 2018! He is absolutely FABULOUS and truly an artist when it comes to cutting and coloring hair! I’m always getting compliments from colleagues, strangers, and friends left and right on my hair! I love how welcoming the atmosphere is, and his staff Christy is also very sweet! Steven provides such a comfortable environment to come and just be yourself all while getting pampered. I literally get so excited for every appointment! I hope no one else has to experience this. My appointment was 30 mins late. With no apology. My hair turned out NOTHING like my reference photo. She talked about herself personal life the whole time. And she double booked so another employee finished my hair. She didn’t address my complaints. But when the other employee checked me out it was $100 cheaper than expected. I’m thankful for that because I had to spend $400 to have it fixed today. Idk why she did this. I will never forget this appointment. Please don’t risk it.

First time I have been to a place other than a chain like Great Clips. For roughly the same cost it feels like you are getting so much more. Highly recommend seeing Steven!

I went from shoulder length hair to a pixie cut. I've had the hair style before but had to go to a new hair stylist. Christy(chris?) Did a fabulous job!! I believe she said she had been cutting hair for 20-30+ years. Don't let the small building fool you, these guys know what they're doing and I love the prices for the cuts.
