“Lena and charlye were AMAZING. Lena works SO well with my daughter’s long curly hair. There was no tugging on my kid’s hair or discomfort. She showed my daughter what she was doing so she could have an opinion and checked on her to make sure the water wasn't too hot, if she was okay, etc. Charlye did the most amazing braids! She did perfect tight french braids for my daughter. She would always check on her to see if she wasn’t tugging on her hair. “I love coming here for the consistent quality and the cordial staff. Everyone is very kind and it’s clear that everyone works hard. The only issue I have is the hidden charges I randomly get. For the past two years, I come and get the same services - acrylic nails with gel polish and sometimes a pedicure and I would splurge on getting gel on my toes (I think this honestly shouldn’t be a $20 up charge because it dries instantly and we are out the door to make room for new clients…and the bottle is $20… but that is just me). In any case, I know I can budget $40 for my nails and $55 for a pedicure with gel - so I can bring $100 and have extra for a tip. Tonight, however, was a new one. Initially, when I got this particular set of nails they accidentally shaped a few too short and a little too round, (not a big deal- I didn’t mind - it was a change of pace for me), but it took a couple weeks and a fill to get them to be where I had wanted them. Excited to get a fill and to change the color, I shaped them how I wanted them tonight before going. I picked a light pink color and usually put a coat of funny bunny under it so the color shows up. A nail salon employee had suggested this and I was so glad she did many visits ago. Sometimes I even add a polish with glitter on the top. Three coats of gel of the same color or different colors … it never mattered. I would often get compliments by the ladies working on me with the combinations I chose. Tonight, I told my technician I had already shaped them so no worries there and I didn’t want to cut them down - I love where they are at. He said he would just make sure they all matched. I was fine with that. I got a fill while getting my pedicure. Gel went well. I did the coat of white and two coats of the sheer color. Perfect! Great! … went to the table to finish painting my nails…same thing! Easy breezy great! Loved it. I went to check out and the total was $15 more than I expected. Quite the jump for not doing anything different than the past few times. He said he would print me out a receipt. Hidden charges $5 extra for picking two colors (if I had picked funny bunny for my toes and the pink for my hands would they have charged me $5 extra?) I was confused. I had never ever been charged for picking multiple colors. In the summer I even do the paint your ring finger a brighter color or a different color altogether than the rest of your nails….even a little red, green action for holidays. I had never been charged this before. I keep reading down the receipt….another $5 for two colors on my pedicure?! And $5 for shaping?!? Confused I looked up and said, “we talked about this, I had already shaped them how I wanted and said I would be an easy one for ya tonight?) He proceeded to tell me that because they were almond shape it was “policy” to charge $5 whether they shaped them or not….that was a new one I haven’t heard before. My advice to is make sure you ask about the hidden fees before going and just make sure you’re crystal clear so that your excitement isn’t deflated when you leave. My experience has always been great here. It was really unfortunate that tonight I was charged $15 extra for things I have never been charged for before. Do I love my nails, yes. Would I recommend this place, yes. Is the staff nice, yes. Would I tell you to beware of the hidden fees, yes. Do I think this was wrong and not great customer service and care, absolutely. I hope they think about those little things and do better next time. How to make an enjoyable experience start to finish where you want to brag about them to others should be the goal.“

She has been doing my hair cuts,color and highlighting as well as my mani/pedicures and eyebrow waxing with tinting.She uses top of the line products and the shop is very clean with all pandemic precautions being practiced to ensure client safety and well being. I highly recommend this business. The prices are less than anywhere I have been.“
