After I formed a business in 2024, they didn't file my county tax returns, and I was assessed $650 for estimated taxes, penalty, and interest. When I emailed them about this, I initially got no response. After more than one attempt, the assistant finally responded. Initially, she seemed helpful, but then I didn't hear from her for a month. After emailing her again she said that I had to get local business licenses (which I could have been working on for a month if she'd only told me).
