Ok firstly I want to say that the only reason I am giving a 5 Star is because of a lady by the name of Jacquelyn with a blonde buzz cut. She is the most sweetest person. The first time I walked in she welcomed me so warmly. I have been to make Walmart's across the US and she has topped any customer service I've ever received in any business. I've seen her both times I stopped by (both times at night) when I checked out she made great conversation. I was just so shocked to see a Walmart employee so nice because let's be realistic they are mostly dry and rude. I really want to contact Walmart corporate because this lady deserves some acknowledgement.... read full review

The store is conveniently located near my house. The prizes are a little bit lower than Kroger. The selection is not as good as Kroger. Most of the time the credit/ debit machine is not working properly, where the card gets charged twice. All self check out machines are chronically malfunctioning, where a store associate has to be called to assist every single time to machine is utilized. Sometimes it takes quiet some time for an associate to assist, since those same associates are utilized at regular cash registers. All those issues/ problems are worth it if you want to save a few dollars.

Still looking for a substitute for Schnuck's. This isn't it. With Neighborhhod Market in the name, I expected a more small scale store that specialized in local goods, something that tried to be a like a traditional supermarket. Not at all. Much closer in spirit to a warehouse store than anything else. Prices are good, quality is acceptable, but the store deals almost exclusively in big national brands, nothing local or regional.
