I would like to update my review for Shaye Style's. So, I made another appointment with another stylist with style seat and was informed the day of that my card was declined. I thought it was odd that Shaye contacted me the morning of my appointment requesting cash. Shaye has done my hair before and she was very nice and professional but when she asked me for cash I kind of thought she was profiling me. Giving her cash was not the problem it was just that it was done an hour and half before my appointment and I didn't have time to go to the bank. I have a scheduled appointment today and I called the young lady to ask her why were they trying to authorize a payment for services that wasn't rendered. She explained that this is a practice of style seat and not the stylist, but I could pay however I wanted when the service was done. I actually got cash off my card to keep down the confusion. Evidently the confusion is with style seat and not with the stylist. I hate that this happen but its definitely confusing to the customer. Now I missed out on getting my hair done by Shaye and she missed out on a having me as a client. She probably didn't remember me from last time but I tip very well when I'm satisfied. So I would like to change my rating to a five star. I give style seat a one star.
