My wife and I moved to east Memphis about 2 years ago and we decided it was time to find a new cleaners near by. Boy was that a big mistake. The lady at the counter when I walked in said… count your items and let me know how many do you have. I said I’m not a customer. This is my 1st time in. She said again.. how many items do you have? To me it seemed that I was an inconvenience to her. My wife picked up our 11 items today and it was 141 dollars. Are freaking kidding me. What a RIP off and very rude. I do not recommend GERMANTOWN CLEANERS. WE WILL NOT BE BACK. Also my cuffs were still dirty!
I took in 25 round table cloths to be cleaned. My total was $980 . Yes that is correct. The response from them was “ you should have asked before you left them”. I left them on good faith for a reasonable price. What a rip off place. Do not take your tablecloths there unless you can take out a small loan. Terrible terrible. Terrible
Just came back to G’town cleaners/Sanderlin that I had used for yrs, after a 8-yr hiatus (after going to another, which has since closed), and was astonished they charged 9 bucks to launder and starch several dress shirts that were 98% cotton and 2% synthetic material. I’ve checked two other cleaners to check if this was indicative or normal. Both laughed, and indicated absolutely not. Well, this one return visit will be the last.
