The Peabody is our favorite staycation. We love to go a few times a year and have a nice dinner downtown, dance at Rumba room, book a couples massage at Feathers and stay the night. Ismael is the best and I always ask for him when we go, but they are all excellent there. Beautiful facility, complimentary champagne and great service. Love it!
Not great for groups larger than 2 people. I came here over the holidays with my sisters and while everyone was very nice and helpful, they completely lost my sister’s 90 minute massage appointment that she had been looking forward to for weeks. This happened despite having a confirmation email and calling the spa the morning of our appointment and confirming our relatively large booking. They comp’ed her facial but it was still very disappointing. I won’t be back. Their gym was also kind of dirty.
Without getting into the details, I should just say that when we went (three appointments), the spa was having a staffing issue. That forced several unexpected changes. The treatments were good. The facilities were small and dated, especially for a property of the Peabody's caliber. But four stars because the spa manager was proactive about making things right. Didn't have to ask or complain. Totally professional.
