I hired Tracy to do my 2023 business and personal taxes, we were in a long line to have them done, she never reached back out to me until September 2023. I had to file my own extension because she never did it even after being assured it would get done. I gave her all of the completed paperwork so it should have been easy for her to just input the forms. It got kicked back from the IRS twice due to a missing 1095 form of which we did not have. I had to reach out to get a form stating we did not have it. I had to track down all info with no help from Tracy's office (countless hours on the phone with IRS and another offices to get it completed even after filling out a power of attorney) finally received my return in February 2024! And she charged me over $2200!! You'd think she would have given us a deal since I did most of the work. I wanted to like her but she charges WAY too much and never returned phone calls in a timely manor. Save yourself some money and go elsewhere. It's time for her to retire.

I hired Tracy over a year ago to take care of a problem on my 1099, an employer claimed it twice and the IRS is saying I owe more than I do. It took forever to get the letter to the IRS. Now I know the IRS is slow and inefficient, they sent me another collection letter over the summer after I know they received the correction. I reached back out to Tracy, said I didn’t want to start this process over again with another CPA and whatever it would cost to resend the letter and follow through with them is fine. No response. I would suggest looking else where. I wish she would just tell people she’s too busy instead of dragging them on for over a year and then just not answering at all.

I was looking for a new accountant in the Maryville area. I called Tracy's office. Spoke to a staff person and then ultimately to Tracy for about 15 minutes. She suggested making an appointment to come in for a free 1/2 consultation. I agreed and she said she would have someone call me. I waited two weeks and never received a call. I called her office back and got a temp employee who had no clue what I was talking about, and could not make appointments. She said she would leave a message and have someone call me back. Weeks have passed with no call back. Tracy, if you are too busy to take on new clients please be forthright and tell us that up front and not waste our time.

I requested advisement on how to reach the IRS about a mistake they made on my tax return. I provided the forms needed and Tracy was to write a letter and fax. It took months. This process started in spring of 2020 for my 2019 tax return. I was unable to get my tax return money for almost a year due to the delay in Tracy's service. Phone calls were not returned and the forms were not faxed for months. When I would talk with her, I had to remind her of what she needed to do for me. Then I was originally charged an outrageous amount for this simple service. I do not recommend.

I have had Traci do my taxes twice. She did a great job both times and covered all the details of a tricky return. I was VERY pleased. Traci is not the cheapest cpa in town, but remember...you get what you pay for. If you want cheap that's what you will get.

Tracy has been a wealth of knowledge for myself and my small business. Her prices are not the cheapest in town but why would you want cheap when it comes to knowledge and experience?!?! I am happy to pay her what she is worth! Her office staff is definitely the backbone of the company. Her assistant is amazing and always willing to help.

We have been using Tracy Carico, CPA for many years. We had two previous accountants (I use that term loosely) who had done such a horrific job on our taxes that if we hadn't found Tracy when we did, we'd probably be living under a bridge! She really worked hard to rectify the mistakes of the past accountants and the results were mindblowing! When it comes to your taxes, don't cut corners! You will regret it! Hire an accountant that knows their profession and is professional, and Tracy is both! We are eternally grateful to Tracy and will continue to use her in the years to come! ....(reviewer Kate Long)

Tried to charge us 60% more than what we originally agreed on for our business taxes, which was already overpriced compared to other CPAs in the area. Filed our taxes with an incorrect address. Still finding other errors. They're friendly enough, but we were not at all happy with their communication, attention to detail, or billing practices.
