I have been coming here for a couple years now and have had the pleasure of sitting in all 4 of the barber's chairs. Myles, Roberto, Elliot, and Max have all impressed me time and time again with their skills and capabilities. This is the place to go if you're looking for the classic barbershop experience, or if you're just in need of a quick cut. Excellent atmosphere and these guys will take great care of you.
A friend made an online appointment (first time ever going to Pikes) and I was his driver. Went in with him to see how they worked and how well they did his haircut. Roberto listened to what he wanted and did a very good job at executing what was asked. As soon as he was done with my friend I asked if he had an opening for me. He said he had another appointment and then he was done for the day. 100% understood, no big deal, thanks! He then asked me what all I wanted to have done. His next appointment had not arrived. I've lived in several major cities, and in all I have struggled to find a barber who is an artist. Someone who really puts themself into the work and strives for aesthetic perfection and not just a paycheck.
My search in Knoxville is over, this is a house full of such men.
Great atmosphere, great people, and great work being done.
Max is a dog, and always comes through with a job well done. I recommend him to anyone, proud to know such a man about his craft.
