About Master Booe's Karate Kidz
Master Booe's Karate Kidz is a child-focused martial arts school that offers Karate classes for kids aged 2 to 12 years old, as well as separate teen classes. With over 30 years of experience teaching children, Master Booe teaches all the classes, specializing in daytime homeschool classes, Karate birthday parties, toddler and preschool age classes, and life skills or virtue-based curriculum. The Karate system includes striking, grappling, and weapons based on Karate/TaeKwonDo, Judo/Jiu Jitsu, and Kali/Kendo. Classes are held in the mornings, afternoons, and evenings to accommodate parents' busy schedules. The school has a welcoming environment, and safety and respect are top priorities. I have two kids that have attended the dojo for about a year. They love the fun, kid-friendly approach to learning karate. They cover a new skill each week, practice with games, and do a character building lesson each class. Master Booe helps them learn discipline and self-control through martial arts, but keeps it light-hearted and fun. They also keep everything super clean.
I have no idea how Master Booe does it but his ability to fully engage 4-8 toddlers/preschoolers is something to be studied! My 2.5 year old has been apart of a lot of different programs but he has finally found his match with Karate. Not only has he learned karate itself, Master Booe prioritizes rule following and respect. This is a really great program overall especially for wild boys!
Master Booe’s is a fantastic dojo. I would highly recommend checking them out for your kids. The whole family that runs it are so kind, great communicators, and really engaging with the kids. My son has learned so much and loves going.
