I highly recommend East Lawn Funeral Home. Josh Sheets and his professional and compassionate team handled all aspects of our Mother’s passing, obituary, planning for the funeral service and graveside service along with so much more flawlessly. There was not a single thing I asked for that was not done and with such ease. In fact, things I didn’t even think about Josh thought of. One thing in particular was that he put an adorable tiger in her casket because our Mom is a huge Clemson Tiger fan. We were so touched by this! All of this lifted such a weight off our shoulders at a time when we were overwhelmed with not only grief but what we needed to do. Josh is extraordinary with his attention to details and his communication with all three siblings was exceptional. Our Mom prepaid her arrangements over 25 years ago and East Lawn had every single detail of her wishes ready for us to discuss in our first meeting. Josh gave us all the information and options for the things that needed to be decided for the services. I cannot say enough about the entire team. Michelle who came to transport our Mom upon her passing was extremely comforting and so very kind. I have been witness a few times where the person is taken and I dreaded it. But Michelle was amazing and at no time did I feel uncomfortable or worried. She also came on our schedule as we had been waiting for a family member to arrive. In addition John Greer, Ralph, and many others were available, caring and dedicated to making sure everything was executed in the manner my Mother and we desired. It made the entire process so much less stressful, much more manageable. Also the memorial materials (memory book, folders, bookmarks, thank you notes) we received are high quality and beautiful. These will be cherished by all of us for the rest of our lives. Our Mother’s funeral service was beautiful thanks to East Lawn. We buried her in Salisbury, NC and Josh and Ralph handled everything for this also. Thank you East Lawn Funeral Home for going above and beyond!

East Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park exceeded my expectations during the most difficult time of my life. I was married to my husband for 30 years, and his passing has been devastating. Joshua Sheets is the person to ask for—he was kind, sympathetic, never pushy, and always took the time to answer my questions. If he didn’t know an answer, he made sure to find out and follow up. Joshua oversaw both the funeral service and the burial ceremony at the VA National Cemetery and took great pride in dressing my husband exactly how we wanted. The funeral home was very clean and smelled pleasant, and all the staff went above and beyond to help us. I have attended many funerals, and this was by far the best experience. Thank you for the lasting memories of my husband.

My wife and I chose East Lawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park to pre-plan our arrangements. We met with John Robertson and Jeff Burns. These guys were both great ! There was no pressure regarding the purchasing of any services that are offered. John explained everything we needed and let us make the choices WE felt comfortable with, both personal and financially. The atmosphere was very relaxing and warm. Even though Jeff was a new employee, it seemed like he was experienced as well. We highly recommend East Lawn for your pre needs. Don't wait until the appointed time comes because THAT will be an extremely difficult time to make these decisions. East Lawn handled my mother’s burial arrangements which she had already paid for many years ago. I came in and met with Jeff to sign papers and that was about it. I was not offered a memorial card or guest book. I was told by management because I did not have the service there, that I could not be offered memorial cards or guest books. Very impersonal experience and felt because I did not have service Ms there on site. Many excuses of why they had poor service.
