“Scheduled appointment @2:00 and was accepted early. Wanted a new haircut for upcoming honeymoon. During mid cut, tornado touched down near location and lost power to the entire strip mall. Staff did very well instructing other workers and clients to take safety in the bathroom. Charlie was extremely kind and continued to finish and detail my hair cut with only a phone light to see. “I used to go Suburban in the '70's but my job took me away from here. I retired and in 2017 I moved back to West Knoxville close to Suburban. I went to get a haircut and "lo and behold" it was exactly as I remembered except a couple of hundred yards around the corner in the same shopping center. Paul and Hoyt were still cutting hair. They give great haircuts for a reasonable price ($18). The place is family oriented, no TV, loud music, or foul language, just pleasant conversation. Hoyt just retired recently. One of the original barber's daughter, Cindi, is a barber there. Anyway, I wouldn't go anywhere else.“
