All I can really say is Wow! I'm absolutely amazed. Three years ago, I had a T3 through T6 laminectomy done at the National Cancer Institute by one of the world's leading Nuerosurgeons. He removed a cancerous tumor from within my spinal cord. I awoke paralyzed from the mid-chest down. After swelling of my cord subsided and with three years of physical therapy, I did regain my ability to walk. I endured 30 rounds of radiation. I have lived with chronic pain for over 3 years. I regained very little sensation. I have endured surgery after surgery after surgery and some more surgery. I have been bedbound for three years, walking only to the restroom or kitchen. unable to sit in a sitting position for more than two minutes before the spasms and pain took over. yes, occasionally I ventured out, but suffered greatly for weeks afterward. Last Monday, I was told by Vanderbilts top neurosurgeon that I would never get any better than I was and that aside from traction for my neck, more injections down my neck and spine, , more physical therapy, and possibly medication which I will not take, that I would only further deteriate. I asked about chiropractic care (as I had on several occasions) and was told ABSOLUTELY NOT! I also have severe arthritis and osteoporosis and they swore if I saw a chiropractor , they would paralyzedme. Fast forward one week. I was in a downward spiral of pain, defeat, and hopelessness. Against these doctors orders, I made an appointment at Scott Chiropractic and Wellness Center. I had nothing left to lose. Monday was my first visit. Tuesday I was really sore (which is a good thing). Tuesday, my feet begain to feel like pins and needles and that night they started itching. ITCHING. I had not felt that in 3 years. itching is a sign of nerves healing. Wednesday, I went to Dr. Scott again. Afterwards, I WENT SHOPPING! FOR 3 HOURS. I havent done that in years! Thursday, I was having difficulty turning my neck all the way to the left, but was able to visit my daughter and grandson for several hours. Today, I was seen at the clinic again. My pain is now at a 3-4 in the area of laminectomy, but I can freely move. My neck doesn't feel frozen and there is no pain in it. Not only are my feet itching, but my legs are tingling. It feels strange to have sensations where only numbness and pain existed. I know I have a ways to go, however, I have come farther in 5 days than I had in three years!!!! Thank you Dr. Scott and your team for giving me a life worth living. By the way, I started at a pain scale of 10/10. Today, I can honestly say that my pain has not exceeded a 3/4. And it is mainly from muscle spasms. They, too. have stopped being constant and off the pain scale. Im so grateful. I highly recommend chiropractic care. Just give Dr. Scott a try. im telling you, I am coming alive again!!!

Scott Chiropractic and Wellness is simply essential for my health and well-being. In particular, nothing but an adjustment can help the debilitating headaches I have suffered from for years. Within 20 minutes of an adjustment, the pain begins to abate. It is truly amazing. I’m very thankful for Dr. Kevin and his skill, kindness, knowledge and thoroughness.
