We had Affordable help with renovations and repairs at our home after we recently purchased it in south Jackson. After moving from Chicago, I can honestly say that Affordable Construction was top notch and would honestly give even the top high-priced contractors in Chicago tough competition for less than half the price. They were fairly priced, on-time, & efficient. Chris, the owner, was a pleasure to deal with and from custom closet organizer design, painting, drywall repair, site clean up, to electrical work (they even installed the electric for my tanning bed!) - they were superstars. So I hired a tree service to take down a rotted tree. It was leaning toward my house/power lines/storm celler so I needed more than just a personal job. Long story short the idiots brought down right on the power lines ripping a whole in my wall, damaging my roof and obviously knocking out power. They were thankfully insured but ihad no clue what to do. I called maybe 10 companies before affordable construction. Second I dod they were walking me though sending em pictures of the damage any electrical items that might be damaged. Affordable was the general contractor on a large motel renovation project for our company. I found their work to be above average in quality and at a good price. They also dealt professionally with all of the unknow issues that come up in the renovation of an older property.
