My 11-year-old son overextended his elbow in a basketball related collision. We were able to have it checked out including x-rays and were reassured with the results. We were given instructions on how to treat it and what to look for. Everyone was sympathetic and attentive. I do wish we didn’t have to wait so long in the exam room, but everything else was as good as could be expected. I would visit there again, although I hope I don’t have to!
I’ve used AFC Urgent Care for many years as I’m satisfied with customer service, bedside manner and diagnosis however I am retired military and am confused as to why they stoped taking my insurance. Now I may need to go somewhere else that I am not comfortable with however they take my insurance. Would I be able to get an explanation?
The wait time was more more than acceptable. Waiting room and any areas that I crossed through seemed clean and organized. All the medical assistants that interacted with me were professional and polite. They did my best to make me feel comfortable and we're very reassuring. X-ray was uneventful and very comforting. The tech was accommodating and considerate of my injury and had. A very pleasant bedside manner. Nurse practitioner that saw me was quick to come and greet me. Very thorough with the exam. Asked me thorough questions and looked at my medications and my recent medical history asked questions about the injury and is it something that is reoccurring or something...read full review
