I took a dress in for alterations and the owner ended up charging me $90 for one stitch and a hem. I was absolutely shocked when she told me the total. I expected it to be pricey but I found that to be outrageous. When I got home, the stitch was not even completely finished. Will not return and I would not suggest anyone using Deluxe Cleaners for alterations. Two stars because she was nice and offered to take $10 off the price…

Joanne is the best, expert seamstress in town. I wouldn't trust anyone else to do our alterations. She has altered all three of my daughters prom dresses all throughout high school. Now we are having her do a wedding dress for my niece's wedding next year.

OK, Let me start by saying that I began bringing my dry-cleaning to JoAnn back in 2010 shortly after I took a sales engineering position that required lots of travel and that meant needing lots of clean slacks, button down long sleeve shirts and sometimes sports jackets on a weekly basis. That doesn't include stuff that my wife has had me drop off including dresses and other things that she needs to get professionally cleaned from time to time. And of course there's been alterations that we've needed to get done here and there as well.
