We bought a 6 tier graduated wooden bowl decorative piece in 1957 during their October celebration. I keep it in the great room filled with silk plants and flowers. It went from TN to FL and now is at home in CO. I always get compliments on it and plan to leave it in my will.
Talked to John about some Sycamore wood I had. He was super helpful, friendly, and willing to take time out of his day to educate me. Will for sure shop here in the future!
A must stop on your trip to Gatlinburg!!! You will find unique & treasured one-of-a-kind carved items from various local artists. Just in a quick look around our home, we have 2 lamps, 2 wooden vases with wooden flowers, birdhouse, 2 carved birds, a carved bear, & a carved bear candle holder that were all purchased at The Wood Whittlers. It's history runs deep in Gatlinburg & owned by the nicest folks you'll ever meet.
