I’ve had a lot of pretty bad experiences at nail salons but this by far has topped them all. I called before even showing up and made sure they would be able to take me as I was in a rush, and once I arrived they sat me down filed my nails, then made me wait for an hour and a half before anybody started doing my nails for real. At that point I literally just wanted to leave but couldn’t because I had half filed acrylics. once the girl started doing my nails she was extremely rough and then proceeded to tell me that she couldn’t do the design that I had showed her at the beginning because she didn’t have time. I walked out with a completely different set than I...read full review

The lady was very nice but it was one of the worst pedicures I have ever had. I have polish all over my toes and she didn't do that great on the actually pedicure part. Disappointing!

I went to Rose's because one of the owners is really good at cuticle cutting despite the place looking run down. When I got there she was busy with another client so I was seen by a new girl who was very unprofessional and I almost want to say lazy at her job. I asked how much a pedi/mani would be and was quoted $30 special for the day. She added sea salt to my bath which I think ended up costing me an extra $10. So if asked and you don't want to pay extra for it at the end of your appointment, then you should decline upfront. Then, I asked her if she could remove the callouses on the bottom of my feet and she replied that if she did they would 'only grow back thicker'. I told her that was okay with me and she proceeded to rub them lightly with a pumice stone and was apparently done with the whole task after a few seconds.. She also tried talking me into getting acrylics on my toe nails. I was interested in trying them, but wasn't sure if they would hold up due to the amount of exercise I do. When I asked her how much, she wouldn't give me a straight answer. Her reply was that the owner would probably give me a good deal. HA! I could smell a scam and politely declined the offer. Next, was my manicure. Nothing special. It actually hurt when she cut my cuticles. I'm guessing that she had no clue as to what she was doing. She actually had to use this lidocaine ointment on my thumb after she drew a little bit of blood. Never had my finger cut at a manicure before! She seemed really quick to use the lidocaine ointment, as it may be the only thing she has confidence in using in the place. As I waited for my lame manicure to dry. She took my payment and told me that it was $40. What happened to the $30 special? Not wanting to argue and after listening to her turbulent life story, I just wanted to leave! While waiting for my nails to dry, I looked over at the two co-owners who were behind the desk and saw one them squeezing their pimples in the mirror behind them. I was totally grossed out and couldn't believe that she would do that with clients in the salon. Please beware of this place. They do not display their prices and do not have a price list. Their prices change with their customers and they charge more over the weekends and apparently whenever they feel like they can get one over on you. BTW - My manicure lasted one day and started to flake the very next night despite light activity. Total rip-off. There are a few other nail places outside the mall area that you maybe better off checking out. I, for one, will never return to Rose Nails.
