We had a hiccup before our scheduled drop off for our puppy. He got stung by wasps in several places. Ali was amazing and let us reschedule drop off two days later. He wasn't eating very well after being stung but we just thought it was because of his ordeal. It was pretty hard on him for the first 12 hours he was pretty lethargic. He was back to himself asides from not eating much, which we chalked up to his ordeal. So we dropped him off at Nashville K9 for training Thursday morning. Ali and team did an amazing job keeping us informed the whole time. Friday morning Ali called and said he still wasn't eating and it would be a good idea just to have him checked at the vet before going in to the weekend. We are so thankful for them keeping us updated, keeping a good eye on him and the recommendation to take him to get looked at. We picked him up that day to take to vet. They needed to pump him full of fluids to get his colon working properly again due to the wasp venom and us feeding him some not so easily digested food after he was stung. He was doing much better and vet said he should be ok to go back to training camp. We took him back the next day to continue training. When Ali and the crew came out to get him he ran off happily to go back with them, not even looking back, so we knew he was in the best of hands and loved his first day and night there enough to gladly leave us again to go with them. It was so hard dropping him off for two weeks the first time, but after seeing this, It made it so much easier, knowing he felt comfortable enough with them to go back a second time, happily! Thank you Ali and team for treating our dog so good and being kind with us throughout this situation! Top notch! We will be telling everyone about our great experience thus far! Love all the pictures your sending us of him training! We miss Peavey and can't wait till Thursday to pick him up!
