“Incredibly affordable, which is the biggest draw. I've often been treated very kindly, though it's important to remember this is a school and the primary goal is education; therefore, patience and flexibility are key. During my visit recent hair appt., my student wasn't able to finish in time and another student stepped in, which felt confusing for them and suggested some unclear expectations from the educators. You're not asked to tip, but donations toward the students' education are welcomed. At $22 for a trim and wash, it's hard to beat, especially if you have long or thick hair. Be prepared to spend several hours, though. They offer small samples of tea and water, which is a nice touch. The environment is very crowded and could benefit from more space; my student was repeatedly bumped into, which isn't ideal when scissors are involved. I also felt some uncertainty around tool sanitation and overall tool quality, though it was hard to tell whether that fell on the students or the school. Overall, it's a great option if affordability is your priority and you're comfortable with a learning environment. I'd rate it a solid 3-4 stars.“
