When my friend John Mattox brought me to visit, we got a 60-minute tour and explanations of sassafras, cypress from Collie Fox.Then I went back to buy 6 loads of red oak for a timber frame pavilion. Some were 20' long. Wanda, who does the orders, is incredibly friendly. Hadan, the loader, is an expert with U-Haul trailers. Tommy Fox always greeted me with enthusiasm. I strongly recommend that you make the drive and work with these good people.
I cannot begin to say enough amazing things about this place. Tommy is a great man and he has wonderful lumber. I've purchased 2 mantle Beams and tons of wood for all custom pieces and shelving in our home.My husband is a contractor and only goes to Fox lumber for any and all lumber needs.Good, country, hard working people and great product!!! I bought a load of batten and board for my shop last year. Was looking them up again to buy some more lumber for another project and realized I hadn't given a review. I highly recommend them!
