Ok, so they have done alot of nonsense... here we go, let's start with the laughable call today. Input all information and it said something about a survey at the end. Well, I never spoke to a Rep and it went straight to the survey and then said goodbye. These folks cancelled an authorization that needed no authorization (per Cigna). Something is awry... Cigna, sell this Company off please or fire the CEO or whatever you must, because this is not representative of what you all are typically. Also, that automated process is a mess. I have been denied MRI multiple times of my neck even though I have had more than one doctor say it is necessary. I had a nerve study done that states my C 8 is the problem. They say they have a panel that decides if it is medically necessary. But they are not doctors!!! If a specialist says I need an MRI then how can they say no??? If they want to practice medicine then they need to get a license.

Basically ditto to the other reviews. Cigna HealthSpring hides behind this third party wall to deny medical evaluation procedures such as MRI. They require a plan of action that can only be truly accurate with the information obtained by the results of the MRI.

A case of which came first, the chicken or the egg. In this situation it obviously the chicken. Bock Bock.
