Didn't even make it in the door at Cool Springs location and don't plan to go. First - my friend requested two appointments via website Thu early morning for two that evening. It is Sat and she still hasn't heard back - even if to say sorry we missed you. So I thought - I would try and on Fri mid- morning I made two online appointments for Fri at 530p. Then I called since it had been over two hours and no email received saying yes or no to appointment. I got their voicemail which said text the nbr I just called for quick response. It is now Sat mid-morning and no email or text.
The attention to detail was great, place was clean and good atmosphere, got a Diet Coke, and was a great experience overall. Got OPI funny bunny. Walked in yesterday and they scheduled my appointment for this morning which was fine by me. Came in with dip and they removed it for me and clipped my natural nails into my requested shape. Very happy with the results. ☺️
On 9/23/22, I visited Athenian before heading out of town due to scheduling conflicts with both of my regular nail salons. I requested a basic pedicure and dip powder on my natural nails due to limited time constraints. I have received beauty treatments in many states and have never experienced such a low quality pedicure. Also, I have never had multiple nails chip 2-4 days after receiving a dip powder service. In the Brentwood/Franklin area, I have not had the unfortunate experience of paying $113 for the most basic level of services (that now must be repaired) before. Both salons I normally attend are upscale and have impeccable service. I spend about $125 - 130 for a deluxe pedicures and dip powder with tip and special shape. I am a proponent of paying higher prices for higher quality service, goods, etc. Athenian's low quality service does not warrant the amount charged. I truly feel it was a complete waste of time and money. I do not recommend this location nor do I plan to return. P.S. The technician and administrative were both nice.
