Mark's Grading & Landscaping is known for high quality work and professionalism. Customers highly recommend them, noting the results are well worth any wait. The team does an amazing job bringing visions to reality and reshaping properties. Price-wise, they receive high marks for fair adjustments. Most of the crew does excellent work, and the owner is responsive in addressing issues, such as reimbursing for equipment rentals or placing required silt fences. For a smooth experience, it is recommended to have daily discussions regarding options and how the work is to progress, as communication on changes can sometimes be an issue. Overall, they are a highly recommended crew for grading and landscaping projects.
Marks a great guy and most of his crew does excellent work. We had 2 situations that created stress during our 2024 build. We met with Mark and agreed to dig 3 feet and fill 3 feet. Great. My husband left the job site and returned to an 8-10 ft fill. We were told this would be better for drainage. I get that, but we were not given options and our house now sits on a hill we did not want and a sloped driveway we cannot bring our motorhome up or turn. We also failed an inspection because this slope didnt have a silt fence and mud was running onto the road below. Marks team did come in a place the silt fence when contacted. However, this should have been done before they left the site. Our second issue was the fella sent to dig our footers dug them too deep and we had to rent a amid steer to clean up the mess. Mark did reimburse for the skid steer rental. Mark is a great guy but we should have been consulted before the decision was made to fill rather putting in drainage options, which we may have been able to do for what we spent on the grading plus additional grading, loads of rock and rip rap. I would recommend Mark and his crew but make sure you have a daily discussions regarding options and how the work is to progress.
