Their gym is pretty nice.They have pretty much everything you are looking for it's never super busy.. The pool is cool.
It's nice to have forsure.. The building itself is a little run down but everything else is nice... Staff is kind of nice. It just depends on who you see, to be honest.. There is some manager guy walks around short little shorts. He's just rude tbh but everyone else real.cool
I love how friendly and welcoming the staff are, especially Jenny! She makes coming to the Cordova Y extra special. I also like the variety of classes available. My best friend and I usually hit up water aerobics, but sometimes I'll come on my own for Zumba and Yoga.
This location, by choice, is my prime spot for Zumba and other group fitness activities. I mostly participate in evening classes and by that time I need a little boost of caffeine. Normally, for the past 8 years, I can grab a cup of coffee before or after classes. About 2 weeks ago, YMCA staff decided that they will give their members a time limit on when they can have coffee. Losing this small perk is upsetting.
