The Cutting Edge is a true old-school, mom-and-pop salon in Chattanooga. It is a hidden gem with a calming, quaint, and quiet atmosphere that relies on natural lighting. The furniture, equipment, and décor tell the story of a place that has been here for years, quietly doing great work. The service is excellent. One customer got a great fade and found a new favorite spot. Another stopped in for a walk-in with no appointment, had no wait, and was immediately sat down for an excellent job. Mrs. Jennifer is hands down one of the best—very knowledgeable, friendly, and polite. She gave an awesome haircut and shave. The kind lady also took care of a customer's father-in-law and his little dog when he snuck off. He has a touch of dementia and decided to go for a walk with his dog Chicken Wing, but she watched out for him until he was brought back home.

Highly Recommend – A Hidden Gem in Chattanooga!
I was driving out of town on the south side of Chattanooga, where gas is always noticeably cheaper, when I spotted a sign that caught my eye: “Haircuts Today.” I’d been looking for a haircut all day but hadn’t found a place that felt right — most spots were either too loud, too trendy, or just didn’t give me a good vibe.
Something told me to turn around. When I pulled up, the big “Open” sign was still displayed, so I walked in and asked if they were closed. The stylist smiled and said, “No, you’re just in time — one more!”

This kind lady took care of my father in law and his little dog when he snuck off on me. He's got a touch of dementia and decided to go for a walk with his dog chicken wing, but luckily he didn't get far and she watched out for him till we brought him back home. Thank you very much my wife would have been very unhappy with me if I lost her dad!
