I had an AWD vehicle that was supposed to be transported to my mechanic for a simple repair. It was towed by Shackleford Towing by the two front tires, which I found out later should have been done on a flat bed trailer due to the AWD. I wish that I had known that towing an AWD vehicle in that manner would destroy the transmission, transfer case, drive train (and more) and cause $13,000 in damage to my vehicle. Unfortunately we could not come to an agreement with this company to compensate us fairly for the damage they caused to our vehicle. I'm only stating facts due to the litigation process. This has been a frustrating process and I had to purchase another vehicle. I am still hopeful this can be resolved. If I had not used Shackleford Towing I would have my dependable functioning vehicle and hundreds of dollars in my pocket every month.
It is terrifying when your teen is broke down on the side of the instate. I googled towing places in Ringgold, picked Shackleford, called and spoke to Dale, told him what happened. He said I'll be right there, as quickly as possible. Less than 10 minutes later he was there and hooked up and had her off the side of the road. Would definitely recommend for the great customer service to anyone!
