About Scenic City Clay Arts
Scenic City Clay Arts is a community ceramics studio offering a variety of programs. The studio features two locations: a main studio with a membership program and a shop, along with a classroom space. Had sooo much fun at the beginner wheel throwing class! Sarah was our instructor and she was awesome! She was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of great tips, but didn't micro-mange us and allowed us the freedom of experimenting however we liked, which was great. Definitely want to do this again!
Fantastic one-off class on the wheel. Chase was a wonderful teacher and we all really got to experience making art in a beautiful environment.
SCCA is a wonderful and welcoming community. Even if you aren't sure you would like pottery, take one class and give it a shot. The teachers are great, you'll meet new people, and learn the beginning of a craft you may fall in love with. I've been taking classes for over 3 years and joined as a member 2 years ago. I love every aspect of this non profit organization.
