I've been a client of Animal Clinic East for about a year now. I see Dr. Love because I have a Boxer and she does, too, so I know she knows the unique issues that come with the breed. She's been great with my boy, who's a rescue and has some problems. She's patient with him, answers questions about treatment options, and seems to be up to date on current literature and treatments, which is really important to me. The office and techs have been great, too. The only thing I don't like is the inability to see a doctor on Saturday. Three generations of my family have taken our animals exclusively to Animal Clinic. My grandparents and my mother started taking their pets to 23rd Street Animal Clinic in the late 70s. My grandparents are passed now, but my mother and I still take our animals to Animal Clinic, but have been patronizing the East location for the past couple of years. My family has a 45 year relationship with this practice. That ends today. Since this practice has gone corporate, the prices have continued to skyrocket while the veterinary expertise has plummeted. I cannot say enough good things about this place!!! The staff was absolutely outstanding, caring, and sooo helpful!!! They did not suggest a ton of random tests or up charge me for things that were unnecessary. They asked me what testings I was okay with and what I wanted for my cat. They were super great with my cat and helped him feel so much better! My cat was super sick when I went, and by the time I got home he was in good spirit and good health.
