Dr. Ireland is the only neurologist. I've had that. You've gave me answers for my daughter's epilepsies, and what was going on? He's the only one that's ever got her medicine, correct to where she is stable. His nurse Haley is the best. She always helps with anything that we need for our daughter. I wouldn't have any other doctor I wish that he could continue to be her neurologist as she turns into an adult. We've been with him since she was three ah, also have another daughter that is in his care. And he takes very good care of her as well. I highly recommend dr.Ireland he is the most awesome doctor ever

If I could give negative stars I would. Dr. Ireland was the most unprofessional neurologist I have ever seen. He had his mind made up before he ever saw my son. His belief that nothing was going on has now been proven wrong by a competent neurologist at another practice. Please do yourself a favor and go to o CHOA or Vanderbilt because this practice will do nothing but make up excuses and leave your child in tears asking what is wrong with them just for being autistic.

I Do not recommend Dr. Lewis for a child’s neurologist. I seen him about my child. He did no testing or anything on him. He came in did not speak. I was the first to say, Hi, how are you. During the visit all he had to say was my child needed to seek mental health treatment. I’m sorry, but him going unconscious 7 times, his sugar bottoming out to 42. Does not mean he needs mental health treatment. He threw my child’s shoes on the bed and did not want to type up any documentation that I needed when I had to ask him to do so over 4 time, he slammed the keyboard and was hitting the keyboard buttons very hard. He was very rude and unprofessional.

This is a review on Dr. Laura Thomas who is in this practice..Would not recommend this neurologist at all! My son has had benign rolandic epilepsy for 2 years or so and had the worst seizure he has ever had today lips turned blue breathing stopped and unresponsive, full body convulsions and all followed by a second seizure not so severe 45 mintues or so later give or take so went to ER by ambulance she was on call for ER and wouldn't even come and see him in person had to stay over night for her to come in the morning to see him cause she wouldn't come to see him today at all. Which to me shows lack of care for the well being of your patient. Then she comes the next morning in a attitude pretty much from the start. I make a comment to my mother and she don't like it and terminates my son as a patient of hers. How can you ethically do that to a 7 year old who has something that could kill him!!!

I wouldn’t even give Dr. Day Breen a one star nor any of her staff!! They lied to us many times about getting our results for an EEG… was told it would be the same day… well week and half later they still haven’t sent over any information so we took our 16month old to C.H.O.A. Instead! The idiots at Erlanger will still not send over the results for an EEG to children’s healthcare of Atlanta! They blocked my wife’s messages on my chart and her cell number! The grouch that answers the phone needs a boyfriend or something bc you can tell how miserable her life is. Take the extra step of going to Vanderbilt or Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta!!!! They don’t give a damn about your child I promise you that!

Pediatric Neurology at Erlanger takes excellent care of my daughter! The doctors and nurses are always so kind and caring. The imaging staff take extra care to make her feel safe before each procedure.

Worst place to take you child for seizures. It takes forever to schedule an appointment. They are very unorganized. And my son is out of his seizure medication and they don't care one bit. They tell me I should have followed instructions and weened him off his medication to start this new one due to side effects and laughed about it. I am a single mother no help working 50 hours a week and taking care of him and my 79 year old dad bc we lost my mom to COVID. Just go to the ER they say...like it's that easy to do. I am over this place and I could write so much more but people need to know to not take your child here.

I agree with others who've posted that Dr.Miller is awful. He is the worst. Personality of a potato. His NP Courtney is amazing though. Dr. Ireland....is wonderful. Originally I was upset that Dr. Ireland changed all of my sons meds. I thought it would make things worse. I was wrong. I am sorry that I was doubtful of Dr. Ireland. My son's seizures are so infrequent now. I am so thankful for Dr. Ireland. Dr. Ireland has been a blessing and that is why I changed my review.

Pediatric Neurology has a wonderful office with staff that truly shows care towards their patients. Our experience with them has been great! Dr. Ireland was very knowledgeable and listened to our experience with Epilepsy wholeheartedly. He's one of the best neuro's we've met in my 15 years of dealing with Epilepsy as a mother. I was extremely impressed.
