I owe the pulmonologist a great deal! He found out what was wrong with me. I have literally been diagnosed 12 times, in last 16 months with pneumonia. And he found out I have stage 3-4 COPD, pneumonia in both lungs also this real bad bacterial infection deep in both lungs that’s extremely hard to kill. So I’m praying that even though I have all these things wrong with me that I’m able to breathe better after I do my best to heal my lungs. My lungs are in bad shape. I had three test done outpatient. Ultrasound on carotid artery in my neck. Echocardiogram of my heart. Nuclear stress test.. From the time that I checked in until the time I left, I have no complaints. The staff was excellent. Each one that I came in contact with was very helpful, kind, courteous, respectful. very professional and caring.
Nothing is more annoying than a middle aged man feeling off, but there I was, going the ER with severe abdominal discomfort. It feels silly, right? Going to a place of real stuff, with middle-aged BS. But the second I walked in the folks did everything and more to make me feel like I'd done the right thing, that I was in the right place. Melissa up front was amazing, so knowing, reassuring, kind. Brooklyn and Lynne were Nurse partners of the highest order - smart, thoughtful, attentive. The Dr. whose name sadly escapes me was wonderful too - a true pro. Turns out I had a golf-ball sized gallstone, who knew? Well, Parkridge did.
