I called Lee Company and asked if someone could come take a look at the 30 amp breaker that had started smoking when plugging my dryer back in. Due to the potential fire hazard, the person answering the phone immediately knew the potential risks and was able to dispatch someone the very same day to take a look. Dean arrived, assessed what had happened, and verified that the breaker was indeed defective, then replaced it. I tested the dryer before he left and it was working as it should. However, a couple of hours later, the dryer stopped working again and the breaker would no longer stay on, instead would trip again immediately. I called Dean's cell # since he had left me a card. Dean was already at home and winding down but he took this phone call as well as an additional one to walk me through how to check other potential causes which led us to finding out that the "short" in the whole system was actually my dryer - which had burned a hole through the aluminum wiring cover because the wires were so hot and melted. If there's anyone who deserves a tip for going way beyond expectations, it is Dean and Lee Company. Can't thank you enough. Your card is already on the refrigerator for when I need assistance next.
