Galen East Internal Medicine and Pediatrics is a practice dedicated to treating patients of all ages. We see Dr. Varela and have for the last 3 years. She is so knowledgeable, kind, and thorough. I recommend her to anyone that will listen. She goes above and beyond for her patients, and you can tell she really loves her patients and her work. We have seen other pediatricians in their sick clinic and they have all been kind as well, but Dr. Varela is just the best of the best. I hope all of my girls are grown before she ever thinks about retiring!
Dr. Smith doesn’t seem popular here but he’s my primary care physician and I like him. He gets straight to the point, tells me what he’s going to do and what I need to do, asks if there’s anything else, and then I’m out. Some people might read that as unprofessional but I appreciate that he respects my time and I’ve never left feeling like a concern wasn’t addressed.
We take our son here to see Dr. Tigar since he was born last year and Dr. Tigar has been amazing! He always answers our concerns and always has a great attitude. One time we did have to wait a while and both him and his nurses kept apologizing for the long wait. His nurses are amazing! I love their attitude Everytime we see them they crack us up and My baby loves them. Also when we walk in to check in we are always greeted with a smile. So glad my friends recommended Dr. Tigar!
